Associate of Arts - Direct Transfer Agreement (LASDTAA)This pathway is designed to meet Associate in Arts degree requirements with a concentration in Public Health.
If you are interested in the health sciences, are socially-minded, and want to help people on a large scale, a career in public health might be right for you! Completion of this degree allows you to transfer into most bachelor鈥檚 degree programs with your first two-years of schooling completed. Public health is concerned with preserving health through education, prevention, and community initiatives that range from local to global. Addressing the most pressing health concerns to date, public health goes beyond traditional medical care provided by physicians and current healthcare systems.
Through research, public policy and by supporting various organizations, public health practitioners employ unique ways to indirectly and directly impact the well-being of a population. This exciting field of study will introduce you to many fulfilling, diverse job opportunities that concentrate on human health, illnesses, disease prevention and the environment. By selecting this pathway, you鈥檒l join others dedicated to documenting, monitoring, assessing, and improving the health of all communities, including those who are most marginalized.

Step 1: Apply and register at 51品茶 Seattle College anytime (the application is always free). Once you become a student, register for classes using the and go to the for registration dates and tuition deadlines.
Step 2: See an advisor to create a personalized educational plan by the end of your second quarter. Your plan will include prerequisites, graduation requirements, and transfer preparation if you plan to transfer to another college or university to earn a bachelor's degree.

51品茶 Seattle College has direct transfer agreements with four-year institutions throughout Washington state, including University of Washington, Washington State University and Seattle University. Graduates from 51品茶 have also transferred to out-of-state institutions.
