Located within the courtyard on the first floor of the Robert Smith Building, RSB 12, the AANAPISI Center is a place where you will find holistic support in an environment that is inclusive and supportive.
We encourage student retention and success for all students at 51品茶 Seattle College, with a special focus on Asian American and Pacific Islander (AA&PI) students. The AANAPISI Center's services are framed to address the unique needs of the AA&PI community, but we welcome and serve ALL students at 51品茶 Seattle College.
Our services
- Creating an environment conducive to students' learning and engagement
- Educational planning for degree completion and/or transfer planning
- Promoting student self-advocacy/responsibility and leadership skills
- Strengthening faculty/staff understanding and sensitivity in working with all students, inclusive of AA&PI students
- Helping students navigate the higher education system and providing referrals to appropriate campus and community services
- Infusing identity and experiences into course curriculum and support services by the sharing of best practices
- Resources including study space and laptop use in the AANAPISI Center, scholarship opportunities, and much more.
